Key responsibilities
Develop and implement decision-making plans and maintain accurate customer records




Advocate for customers and support positive outcomes across complex matters
Prepare reports, submissions and recommendations for senior officers, the Public Guardian and NCAT
Make decisions within delegated authority and relevant legislation, policies and standards
Support Guardians and staff with complex cases and provide advice and direction
Collaborate with families, carers, professionals, service providers and government agencies
Conduct visits to people represented by the Public Guardian
Build strong knowledge of local services and support infrastructure
About you
A relevant degree insocial, health, behavioural sciences or related discipline, or equivalent experience
Experience working with people experiencing vulnerability, disability or complex support needs
Robust advocacy, assessment, decision-making and case management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage complex or contentious matters with empathy, objectivity and sound judgement
Ability to travel throughout NSW on occasion
Current driver's licence
Ability to successfully complete required employment checks, includingtwo references, Police Check via Fit2Work
