Security & Safety Officer - Permanent Full Time -Early Morning Starts
38-Hour Week -$82K + Super- Increase to $86,205 + Super from January ****

We are seeking a reliable, professional and safety-focused Security & Safety Officer to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on position that combines security patrols, workplace health and safety, incident response, first aid, fire safety, customer service and general operations.

EARLY MORNING STARTS – ESSENTIAL
The majority of shifts commence very early in the morning.
Typical shifts include:
1:00am – 8:30am
2:00am – 11:00am
3:00am – 10:30pm
Flexibility is essential.
Shortlisted candidates must also be available for an early morning interview, potentially from 5:00am.

About the Role
You will be responsible for helping maintain a safe, secure and professionally operated environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conduct regular security and safety patrols
Maintain a visible and professional presence across the site
Monitor activity and identify potential safety hazards
Enforce site rules and procedures professionally
Support workplace health and safety requirements
Respond to incidents and emergency situations
Provide First Aid assistance when required
Assist with fire safety and emergency procedures
Act as a Fire Warden when required
Prepare accurate incident and operational reports
Communicate professionally with customers, visitors, contractors and site personnel
Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment
Administer first aid procedures to injured persons and maintain first aid kits
Collect revenue and issue receipts when required
Maintain safe and professional work areas
Work closely with the wider Operations team
Assist with general operational requirements as needed

Previous security or patrol experience
First Aid Certificate
Fire Warden / Fire Safety experience
Forklift / HRW Licence highly regarded
Experience in warehousing, logistics or site operations
Experience responding to incidents or emergencies
Good computer and reporting skills
