We’re looking for a Patient Advocate (Medical Receptionist) of exceptional quality. Someone who is invested in going above and beyond, delivering emotionally intelligent customer service and patient care that aligns with our culture and values of creating a centre of excellence.

The Patient Advocate’s core purpose is to efficiently and effectively perform administrative tasks within the clinic. It’s a hands-on role and essential to the successful running of the practice. Providing an optimal patient experience and the smooth operation of the Next Practice concept is essential.

Patient Advocates have a key responsibility to support the patient and the clinicians; the primary shared focus is to ensure that each patient receives seamless and supportive care with a focus on health outcomes.

Flexible schedule available: Full-time or part time options considered.

Working as part of a team with the Practice Manager, you will ensure provision of exceptional support services to practitioners, nurses and patients.

Balance managing the patient experience with completing key tasks that ensure smooth operation of the clinic, helping us maintain compliance, and grow our patient base.

Manage the workflow of the waiting room including welcoming patients, telephone and email communication, invoicing and receipting and general administrative tasks.

Access, coordinate and manage patient medical records with utmost confidentiality.

Previous experience in a medical receptionist role (experience working in General Practice is highly regarded)

Proficiency and familiarity with medical software and IT systems including Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, customer service, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Pro-active problem solving, adaptable and action-oriented.

Always courteous, professional and with a patient-focused approach

If you are dedicated to providing excellence and excited for the future of healthcare, then we would like to hear from you!
