Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Spanish dishes (tapas, paellas, grilled meats, seafood, etc.) following recipes and presentation standards.
Adapt dishes for dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian) when needed.
Monitor cooking temperatures, grill settings, and oven operations to ensure perfect results.




Maintain proper food storage and handling to meet safety standards.
Work efficiently during high-volume catering events, ensuring timely and consistent food service.
Assist with plating, garnishing, and portioning dishes for catering presentations.
Inspect ingredients and finished dishes to ensure top quality and authenticity.
Always follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
Work closely with the kitchen team to execute catering orders smoothly.
Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff when required.

Skills and Experience
At least 1 year of full time cooking experience, preferably in catering, Spanish cuisine, or high-volume kitchens.
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, frying, sautéing, etc.).
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Attention to detail in food presentation and flavour balance.
Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Passion for Spanish cuisine and a team-player attitude.
