About the Role

We're seeking a hands‑on Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a major station development project in Brisbane. Based on site, you'll provide day‑to‑day engineering support to ensure works are constructed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design and specification.

Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support and supervision for site construction activities
Set out works and undertake quality checks against design drawings and specifications
Monitor and manage subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and program requirements
Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate site records, diaries, and progress documentation
Identify and elevate site risks, non-conformances, and design issues in a timely manner
Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors,



and the broader project team to keep works on program
Support compliance with rail safety standards (including track access and possession requirements) and environmental obligations
Assist with as‑built documentation and close‑out records

About You
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
Experience in rail, transport, or major infrastructure construction, ideally within live/brownfield settings
Working knowledge of setout, quality assurance processes, and construction methodology
Understanding of rail safety requirements; RIW/rail safety accreditation highly regarded
Solid communication skills with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and site teams
A proactive, safety‑first mindset and willingness to be on‑site and hands‑on
