About the role
We're seeking a warm, professional, and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our Myhealth Baulkham Hills practice on a part-time basis, 3 days per week.
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients, playing an significant role in delivering a positive patient experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced receptionist looking to build their career within general practice and be part of a busy, patient-focused team.
Day in the Life:
Greeting patients and efficiently managing patient check-ins and registration
Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)
Answering patient queries via phone and email
Organising and maintaining patient records, ensuring confidentiality
Handling various ad-hoc reception tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience (medical preferred)
Best Practice experience (desirable)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Medicare, DVA,



Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
