Family Lawyer | 1-3 Years PAE | Brisbane
A Brisbane family law practice is looking for a junior solicitor to join a supportive, partner-led team.
The firm invests properly in development and has a defined pathway through to Associate.
The role
You'll work directly with the partner on parenting and property matters, building carriage of your own files as you go.
The emphasis is on doing the work well and being supported through it, rather than being left to sink or swim.
Day to day
Parenting and property settlement matters
Drafting applications, affidavits, consent orders and correspondence
Attending mediations, conferences and court alongside the partner
Direct client contact and file ownership as you build confidence




Regular one-on-one supervision and file reviews
About you
1–3 years PAE in family law
Admitted in Queensland
Sound grasp of the Family Law Act and the FCFCOA process
Empathetic with clients and steady under pressure
Wanting a firm that will develop you rather than just resource you
On offer
$80,000 – $110,000 plus super
A structured pathway to Associate with explicit milestones
