Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone looking to build their career in marketing, social media and content creation within the motorsport and events industry.
Working across race meetings, events and day‐to‐day marketing activities, you will assist with promoting our events, creating engaging content, growing our digital presence and connecting with competitors, fans, sponsors and the wider motorsport community.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Promotion
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for race meetings and events.
Create engaging written content, including event announcements, social media posts, press releases, website content and email marketing campaigns.
Design or coordinate the production of promotional materials for events and campaigns.
Assist in developing new and innovative marketing strategies to increase event attendance and brand awareness.
Identify new opportunities to engage competitors, fans, sponsors and the wider community.
Assist with digital advertising campaigns across Meta and other relevant platforms.
Social Media & Content Creation
Assist in managing and growing the organization's social media channels.
Capture event‐day content, including photography and video.
Create and publish short‐form video content including Reels, Stories and promotional videos.
Conduct interviews with drivers, teams, sponsors and fans.
Assist with live event coverage and real‐time social media updates.
Monitor social media channels and respond to enquiries, comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
Identify content opportunities, trends and stories that showcase our events, competitors and community.
Media, PR & Community
Assist with media accreditation and event access.
Liaise with photographers, videographers, journalists and other media representatives.




Assist with the development and distribution of media releases and event information.
Help maintain positive relationships with competitors, fans, sponsors, media and community stakeholders.
Support initiatives that strengthen the organization's brand and help grow participation and interest in motorsport.
About You
We are looking for someone who is motivated, creative and eager to learn.
You do not need to be an expert in every area of marketing or content creation.
This is a junior role and provides an opportunity to develop your skills while gaining hands‐on experience in a quick‐paced motorsport and events environment.
You will ideally have:
A basic understanding of marketing and social media.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An understanding of major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Basic graphic design skills or experience using programs such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Photography and/or videography experience.
Basic video editing skills, particularly for short‐form social content.
Some experience or familiarity with Meta Business Suite and digital advertising platforms.
The confidence to interact with competitors, fans, sponsors and members of the public.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast‐paced event environment.
A willingness to learn, take initiative and contribute new ideas.
An interest or passion for motorsport, cars or the wider automotive industry.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys social media and content creation, understands what makes engaging digital content and wants to turn those skills into a career.
You will be comfortable getting involved on event days.
Whether that means capturing a great piece of content, interviewing a competitor, posting live updates or helping coordinate media, while also contributing to the marketing work that happens behind the scenes.
Above all, we are looking for someone with energy, initiative and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the role.
