The Role
Leading and delivering concept, feasibility and detailed electrical designs
Working across substations, switchgear, transformers, protection and control, earthing and power distribution systems
Supporting renewable energy, battery storage, grid connection, transmission and distribution projects




Providing technical input across multidisciplinary engineering teams
Managing engineering packages, design reviews, technical risks and stakeholder interfaces
Supporting proposals, tenders and business development activities
Mentoring and developing junior engineers
The Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong post-graduate experience in electrical/power engineering
Experience in one or more of transmission, distribution, substations, renewables, BESS, grid connections, rail/traction power or industrial power
Robust knowledge of power system design, protection, switchgear, transformers, earthing and network integration
Experience taking projects from concept and detailed design through to construction and commissioning
Consulting experience is highly desirable
RPEQ/CPEng or eligibility to obtain is advantageous
