Security Equipment Installation Apprentice | Certificate III in Data & Voice Communications
Build a career in technology and electronic security while gaining hands-on experience with CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated individual to join a leading provider of fire safety and security solutions based in Findon, South Australia.
You'll complete a Certificate III in Data & Voice Communications while gaining practical experience servicing, maintaining, installing and commissioning electronic security systems in a supportive and dynamic environment.
About the Role
As a Security Equipment Installation Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians and develop skills across:
CCTV, alarm and access control systems
Security system installation and commissioning
Servicing, maintenance and fault finding
Data, networks and associated security technology
Customer service and job documentation
You'll also use company systems and handheld devices to record completed work and maintain accurate service records.
The role includes occasional weekend work, overtime and regional travel, including short trips to locations such as Port Pirie.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Interested in technology, electronics and security systems
Motivated to learn and build a long-term career
Reliable, proactive and willing to take initiative
Skilled, respectful and a robust communicator
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team




Interested in understanding CCTV systems, networks and servers
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
White Card
Working at Heights Card
Working with Children Check
Ability to obtain the required security licence and clearances
Ability to successfully complete police, medical and security checks
A pre-employment medical will include hearing and colour vision assessments.
A defence clearance will also be required upon commencement.
