We are seeking an experiencedData Analystto join a large national insurance building company undergoing continued growth and expansion.
Working as part of a collaborative IT team, this role will be responsible for transforming business and operational data into meaningful insights, developing Power BI reporting solutions and working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to improve performance, accountability and business outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Data Analyst who enjoys combining technical capability with commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
Reporting within the IT function, you will work across a broad range of operational and business data, including information generated throughout theend-to-end insurance claims and building lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, maintaining and improvingPower BI dashboards and reporting
Analysing operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
Producing business performance reporting acrossKPIs, SLAs and operational metrics
Working with data generated through the company'sPRIME platform utilising SQL strategy
Ensuring accuracy, consistency and integrity of business data
Developing data models and integrating information from multiple sources
Working closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand reporting requirements
Translating complex data into clear, practical and actionable business insights
Supporting reporting requirements across three entities within the organisation
Contributing to broader IT projects and support activities as part of a small, collaborative technology team
About You
We are looking for someone with solid Data Analytics and Business Intelligence experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
You will ideally bring:
Mid-level experience in aData Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role
Strong hands-on experience withMicrosoft Power BI
Degree qualified and or 2-5 years experience
Experience developing dashboards, reports and data visualisations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and translate data into meaningful insights
Understanding of data modelling, data integration and data quality principles
Experience reporting againstKPIs and SLAs
Solid attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A flexible approach and willingness to contribute across broader IT projects when required
Experience withininsurance, construction, claims management, building services or another data-driven operational environmentwould be advantageous.
