About the Role
CAD Draftsperson / Engineeris an integral part of our design team, and the responsibilities require a high degree of technical skill to perform a variety of engineering, drafting and CAD tasks.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to join a great team in a dynamic setting whilst working with clients at the forefront of their industries.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Completion of drawings/design using SOLIDWORKS
Completion of drafting documentation following the necessary procedures and external requirements;
Attention to detail and preciseness in drafting plans;
Accountability for your outputs;




Capacity and capability to produce quality plans;
Document management and control of completed drawings;
Ability to work unsupervised; and
Ability to work extra hours when required at short notice.
Ability and willingness to work effectively as part of the design team; and
Ability and adherence to follow directives given by your Director.
About You
You are currently a draftsperson in a metal fabrication environment and would like to join an organisation with a much higher level of responsibility, or perhaps you're ready to move up into management.
In order to be considered for this position you must possess the following:
Minimum of 2 years demonstrated and progressive work experience in a CAD draftsman position within metal fabrication;
Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS is a MUST
Proficiency in quoting software is highly regarded though not essential;
A self-starter attitude and the ability to manage your time effectively to ensure customer deadlines are met;
A commitment to quality and accuracy; and
A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
