Nepean Hospital is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Acute Medicine Unit.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and supportive clinical environment, providing high-quality care to patients with a diverse range of acute and complex medical conditions.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patients and their families receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care throughout their healthcare journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective and patient-focused care while demonstrating professionalism, clinical excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.




You will assess, plan, prioritise, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes within agreed timeframes.

What you will bring to the role:
Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a current graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
