Salary: $133,348 - $146,945 + Superannuation and Leave Loading

An excitingopportunity has become available for a Senior Enforcement officer focusedprofessional to join the Investigations & Enforcement team in SIRA.
Youwill be responsible for review and evaluation of referrals from internal andexternal stakeholders of legislative noncompliance in the Workers Compensationinsurance scheme to gather further evidence and to provide support to assesscompliance with standards and regulatory requirements or initiate prosecutionaction where necessary.
In this role you will:
Provide strategic advice and support in complex investigations, including undertaking interviews and obtaining statements, in relation to legislative non‐compliance and/or fraud committed against the NSW personal injury insurance systems to ensure compliance
Collaborate, guide and provide support to officers undertaking enquiries to ensure effective operation of the team,
Effectively manage a portfolio of cases to ensure appropriate resources and prioritisation of work
Research, analyse, collate information and identify trends from internal and external sources to provide advice and recommendations regarding potential policy issues, legislative non‐compliance and/or fraud identification, investigation and evidentiary processes to inform decision making.
Prepare briefs of evidence under the relevant legislation to inform and support prosecutions.
Influence and advice key stakeholders, on appropriate investigation techniques and procedures to facilitate investigations and prosecutions into personal injury legislative non‐compliance and/or fraud activity to achieve compliance and consistent outcome
Undertake projects related to legislative non‐compliance and/or fraud detection, and prevention strategies to achieve improved industry outcomes.




Keep up‐to‐date with the latest trends and issues on relevant legislations and industry practices to recommend best practice and provide advice to relevant stakeholder to improve compliances.
To besuccessfulin this role you will demonstrate:
Liaisewith and advise key stakeholders to ensure compliance withlegislation
Supportthe team and work collaboratively to contribute to achieving effectiveoperation of the team
Demonstratedability in resolving complex queries
Reviewand evaluate referrals from internal and external stakeholders
Addressand/or escal ... requests propose solutions and provide updates
Contributeto projects related to legislative non‐compliance and/or frauddetection
Strongwritten and verbal communication skills
Aboutyou:
You will bepart of a team of enthusiastic people ensuring the Workers Compensationscheme is viable
Workcollaboratively with, support and assist, other Enforcement Officers toensure the effective operation of the team
Liaise withkey stakeholders to lawfully obtain the appropriate information requiredto pursue these investigations
High levelof integrity and the ability to appropriately represent SIRA in engagementwith internal and external stakeholders
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail, and theability to deliver high quality, thorough and well‐reasoned investigationreports, correspondence, statutory notices, recommendations and briefingnotes

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role startingat $****** base plus superannuation
