Retail Support (Assistant) Store Manager

About the role
Exciting position in our new store soon to be built at Lawnton
As a Retail Support Manager at Choice Discounts', you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the retail industry.

What you'll be doing
Assisting in managing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to maximise productivity and sales
Implement and monitor store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
Assist in collaborating with regional and corporate teams to drive business growth and profitability

What we're looking for
Minimum of 1 years' experience in a retail management role
Previous experience in Discount, Department store or Supermarkets is essential
Strong merchandising skills
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team




Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build strong relationships with customers
Proficient in computer use
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Versatile and adaptable to changing business needs
Flexibility to work across the whole week as we are a 7 day trader
