CN - Rockhampton - Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMHS)
Rockhampton Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) to join the Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMHS) ward on a contract basis.
This is a focused opportunity to contribute to a specialist mental health service supporting young people in the Rockhampton region.
The role runs from 25 August **** through to 18 September ****, offering a salary of AUD***** to AUD***** per hour.

Preferred Requirements
Solid experience in mental health nursing,



with demonstrated competence in assessment and care planning
Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health presentations and therapeutic approaches
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical workplace
Excellent communication skills, particularly when engaging with young people and their families
Current knowledge of mental health legislation, duty of care, and clinical governance standards
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist experience in mental health nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certification
