Job Description
PKL Recruitment is recruiting for aFinancial Analystto join an established and growing consulting firm basedin North Sydney.
Our client works with organisations across Australia and internationally, providing specialist consulting and assessment solutions to some of the world's leading companies.
This is a varied finance role offering exposure across financial reporting, analysis, business systems and process improvement.
It would suit someone with 3+ years' finance experience who is analytical, commercially minded and confident working with systems and data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day-to-day transactional accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and general accounting tasks
Support month-end close activities and preparation of management reporting
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analysis
Respond to client enquiries and liaise with clients and external stakeholders
Maintain and improve reporting templates, financial processes and data quality
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Develop business analytics and commercial analysis across products and services
Assist with the ongoing development and improvement of CRM and financial systems
Develop and maintain CRM and financial systems, improving controls, invoicing efficiency, user experience and data integrity
Identify opportunities for systems improvement, automation and greater business efficiency

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
This role will suit someone with at least 3 years' experience in a finance role, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce (Accounting) or a relevant discipline.
You will also bring
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with Power Query and Power BI
Experience using automation and AI to support continuous process improvement
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Strong systems capability with the ability to quickly learn new applications and adapt to changing technologies
A proactive approach to improving processes, systems and efficiencies
Previous experience in a medium-sized corporate organisation would be highly regarded.
