Description:
The Role
As the OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader , you are expected to oversee the operations of the service, lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality education and care to school aged children.
We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader to join our successful and well-established service at Merewether Beach.
This position is being offered on a (maximum term) part-time basis until 29 October ****.
Hours for vacation care programs operate between 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday (approx. 8 hours per day).
It would be an expectation to be available for most of these shifts.
Skills and Experiences:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCS (childcare subsidy system)



and ability to perform software application for compliance
Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill **** and Education and Care Services National Regulations
Demonstrated ability to successfully support the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children with the centre curriculum
Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education or OOSH Centre
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate III in Children's Services (minimum of 3 years' experience) as identified by Australian Children's Education and care Authority
Working with Children Check verification number
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
Child protection qualification
