Job Description
As Manager, Risk & Compliance Initiatives, you'll support the implementation, enhancement and ongoing operation of CBUS' risk and compliance frameworks, processes and capabilities.
Working within the Enterprise Risk & Compliance team, you'll help deliver practical and effective risk management practices that strengthen governance, improve visibility of risk and support better decision‐making across the organisation.
This role is important to the successful delivery of CBUS' Risk Transformation Program and the ongoing uplift of risk management maturity.
Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of risk and compliance disciplines, helping CBUS maintain a robust and effective control environment while delivering strong outcomes for members.
Key accountabilities
Support the delivery and continuous improvement of risk and compliance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
Facilitate risk and control assessments, including identifying risks, assessing controls and tracking improvement actions.
Enhance key risk management processes including obligations, incidents, issues and breach governance activities.
Analyse risk and control information to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
Develop meaningful risk reporting and partner with stakeholders to support risk transformation initiatives and governance outcomes.

What will you bring?
Experience in risk management, compliance,
governance or operational risk within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
Strong understanding of enterprise risk management, controls, incidents, issues, obligations and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated experience delivering risk, compliance, transformation or process improvement initiatives.
Well-developed analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience working across multiple business areas and GRC systems.
