As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an important role in assisting people to achieve their goals as specified in their NDIS plan.
We are looking for female support workers specialising in physical disabilities and are comfortable working in a house with pets.
This position is designated female under Section 25 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act **** as being a genuine occupational requirement due to the nature of personal care and support services provided to female clients.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:
Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry
Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport
Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping
Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people.
Applicants will require:
Relevant industry experience working with people who have physical disabilities
Certificate III in Individual Support; Disability Cert IV or equivalent
Current NDIS workers screening check
Current Working with children blue card
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
Medication Certificates/experience will be looked at favourably
Valid Driver's License
