Simmons Civil is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious casualIndustrial Labourer / Spotterto join our team in Gladstone, QLD.
As an Industrial Labourer / Spotter, your primary focus will be on maintainingsite safety, assisting withgeneral labouring duties, and providingspottingservices to ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with site requirements.
Key responsibilities
Provide spotting services for mobile plant and equipment, ensuringsafe movement and operations on-site
Performgeneral labouringduties including site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
Maintain clear communication with equipment operators and site personnel usingradio communications
Conduct regular site inspections to identify andreport hazardsand unsafe conditions
Assist with thesetup and breakdownof work areas and equipment
Maintainhousekeepingstandards and keep work areas clean and organised
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Labourer / Spotter in industrial, construction,



or civil settings
White Card (Construction Induction Card), EWP ticket, 3-site Medipass (Yellow)
Gladstone site inductions (highly desirable)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team workplace
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour duties
Reliability and punctuality, with a positive attitude towards work
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to site-specific procedures
Current manual driver's licence and vehicle to get to work essential
