About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical All Rounder/Trade Assistant to join our team at our Milperra NSW facility on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn to develop their skills in a practical, hands‐on environment.
You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, assisting with a variety of mechanical tasks and projects.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in the trades or further develop their existing mechanical knowledge and experience.
What you'll be doing
Assisting qualified tradespeople with mechanical repair and maintenance tasks
Performing general labouring duties on job sites and in workshops
Operating hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
Preparing work areas and gathering materials and components needed for mechanical tasks
Supporting the installation, assembly and disassembly of mechanical equipment and machinery
Maintaining workplace safety standards and adhering to all health and safety protocols




Learning mechanical skills and best practices through on-the-job training
Assisting with equipment maintenance and tool organisation
Following instructions from senior tradespeople and contributing to efficient project completion
What we're looking for
A willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills in a hands‐on environment
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour duties regularly
Basic understanding of mechanical principles and mechanical equipment (preferred but not essential)
Competency and safety awareness when working with hand and power tools
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards on site
Current or willingness to obtain relevant safety certifications (e.g. White Card, induction certificates)
A drivers licence is advantageous for site-based work
No prior trade experience necessary; enthusiasm and dedication are key
