Legal Assistant | Catastrophic Injury Claims | Brisbane
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded Australian-owned law firm in their Brisbane CBD office.
Working in an expanding litigation team focusing on catastrophic injuries and latent disease claims this role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years' Legal Assistant experience who is looking to continue building a long-term career in legal support.
You will be joining a welcoming team of professionals, led by an approachable Partner who is known for investing in his team, alongside experienced Legal Assistants who will provide excellent mentoring as you settle into the role.
You will become actively involved in files rather than spending your day on dictation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing court and legal documents
Managing medico-legal appointments and reports
Assisting with file management and client reporting
Billing and practice administration
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders




Supporting lawyers throughout litigation matters
About You
You ideally bring:
1-3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant
Previous exposure to a busy litigation practice (highly regarded)
Solid organisational skills &attention; to detail
A calm approach &genuine; desire to build a long-term career as a Legal Assistant
