About the Role
We're seeking a Purchasing Manager to join a fast growing, direct to consumer e-commerce retailer, overseeing purchasing across domestice and international markets.
This is a great opportunity to bring senior level supply chain expertise into a business that's scaled quickly and is actively investing in the experience to match its next phase of growth.
You'll lead a small, established team and work closely with senior leadership to shape the function going forward.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives across multiple international markets
Source, evaluate and select suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve optimal value and quality
Manage supplier relationships,



including performance monitoring, issue resolution and continuous improvement
Prepare and analyse purchasing reports, forecasts and vendor performance metrics to support decision making
Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with operations to ensure adequate stock availability
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enhance procurement processes
Oversee supplier quality management and ensure adherence to specifications and delivery schedules
About You
Solid experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management, furniture, bulky goods or manufacturing background well regarded
Strong understanding of international supply chains, ideally spanning across major international markets
Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and build collaborative supplier partnerships
Proficiency in purchasing systems and ERP software
Comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a fast paced, hands on team environment
Formal supply chain qualifications valued but not essential where strong hands on experience is demonstrated
