Casual Medical Receptionist – Skin Cancer Clinic

Part-Time Casual | 10–15 hours per week

We are seeking a friendly, skilled and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our skin cancer clinic on a casual part-time basis.

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play an important role in providing a welcoming and productive experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
Answering telephone calls and managing patient enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Processing payments and Medicare claims
Maintaining accurate patient records
General reception and administrative duties
Liaising with doctors, nurses and other members of the clinical team

About you

We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is organised, reliable and professional
Has a warm and approachable manner
Is confident using computers and learning current software
Can work independently and as part of a small team




Has previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience (preferred but not essential)

Medical receptionist experience and knowledge of Medicare/private health billing will be highly regarded.

Education:
High School (Year 12) (Preferred)

Experience:
Medical receptionist: 1 year (Required)

Language:
English (Required)

Licence/Certification:
Full Driver Licence (Required)
