Job Description
We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced labourerfor work with aroad works team basedon the Central Coast.
This role will involve working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hour/9 day fortnight) for an period of 6 months initially until end of December with potential to continue beyond this time.
A start of workASAP is required.
An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work.
Duties will include general labouring tasks for routine roads maintenance tasks such as road pavement repairs/pothole patching, installing and repairing guard rails, barrier fencing and signage, traffic control, installing guide posts, rubbish collection andclearing/maintainingroadside vegetation.
Successful Applicants will need;
current WHS White Card




current unrestricted driver licence - with MR licence or above a distinct advantage but not essential
traffic control tickets - preferred (IMP and TCR)
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant to be completed as part of on-boarding process)
positive all round fitness for manual work tasks
previous experience with road construction, road maintenance or civil construction labouring would be an advantage
NOTE: successful applicants will be required to complete a police check as part of the employment on-boarding process.
