Job Description
We are a family run office furniture manufacturer located in Loganholme ****, manufacturing a wide variety of melamine & laminated office furniture.
Desks, pedestals, bookcases, workstations, cabinetry, shaped tops with ABS edging, etc.
Much of what we make is customised, so there is plenty of variety in what we make.
Many of our team members have been with us for more than 5 years!
We areseeking a Cabinet maker with qualifications or relevant experience.
This position would also suit someone looking to take on a leading hand role.
Full time position, Overtime available during busy periods.
All in shed work, no travel to site required.
Regular hours are Monday to Thursday 7am - 3:30pm and Friday 7am -1pm.
Main requirements are: experience in the field of melamine joinery, whether it be from Office furniture, shopfitting,
or kitchen manufacture.
Must have positive communication skills and be able to work unsupervised, but still work well with the team and assume responsibility for your part in the manufacture process.
Must have an eye for detail and be able to produce high quality work.
Ability and willingness to supervise and mentor apprentices would be highly regarded.
Saw bench experience preferred.
CNC experience preferred.
Forklift licence preferred.
MR truck licence preferred.
Sound knowledge of hardware and ordering would be an advantage.
Close to public transport.
Rate of pay is dependent on your skill level & experience.
