Job Description
Izzat Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Hamilton team on a part time basis (15 hours per week).
What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial transactions, fortnightly payroll, and reporting to ensure accurate, timely record keeping.
Including;
Generating, and processing of invoices and reports
Management of financial records, accounts payable and receivable
Monitor and actively follow up outstanding accounts payable (debtors)
Assist in processing fortnightly payroll
Bank reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial results
What we're looking for
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable
Advanced bookkeeping skills and experience in the use of financial ERP systems, Xero is essential
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail




Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Current Class C Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence
Prior experience in an engineering firm would be advantageous
