About the Role
Maevarii Boutique is seeking a local, fashion-obsessed Retail Assistant & Social Media Content Creator.
You will split your energy between styling customers on the shop floor and actively capturing, editing, and creating aesthetic content to build our Maevarii Boutique online community across Facebook and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities
Boutique Styling: Provide premium customer service, offer expert styling advice for a high fashion brand, and maintain luxury visual merchandising standards.
Welcoming: on arrival to the boutique we want to create a friendly vibe.
Greet customers and be able to tell the Maevarii brand story and share product knowledge.
Operational Flexibility: Cover shifts on short notice for staff illness or holiday leave.
Content Creation:



Film and capture authentic in-store moments, customer interactions, and fabric details.
Video Production: Edit high-engaging, fast-paced Reels and Shorts.
Digital Design & Copy: Craft aesthetic graphics, carousels, and write engaging captions that match our "modern vintage" brand voice.
Day to Day responsibilities: Capable of working independently and unsupervised.
Opening and closing the store
Steaming the clothes and keep the store tidy and clean
Processing payments through Square terminal
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience and deliver exceptional customer service within a luxury, high-fashion workplace.
Stylist: Provide expert styling advice tailored to individual client needs.
Knowledgeable: Demonstrate a deep understanding of different body types to select the most flattering silhouettes, fabrics, and cuts.
Skills: Proficient in mobile video editing apps (e.g., Canva) and savvy with Instagram/Facebook growth strategies.
Availability: 2 to 3 days per week, with mandatory availability on Sundays (10:00am–3:00pm) or at least every second Sunday.
Location: Must live locally to the Noosaville/Noosa area.
