We are a busy and well-established medical practice in Marrickville, seeking an experienced ,friendly, self-motivated Medical Receptionist with strong practice management skills to join our supportive and collaborative team who can efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment while being tech-savvy and adaptable.
About the role
This role combines admin duties with day-to-day practice coordination while supporting the smooth and efficient running of the practice by overseeing the operational, administrative and recruitment of the practice.
The position starts with 1-2 shifts per week, with potential for additional shifts.
Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to cover for other staff members when needed.
We are looking for a dedicated team member to grow with us over the coming years
Key responsibilities
Day-to-day practice coordination
Overseeing operational and administrative functions of the practice
About you
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Patience and resilience when dealing with challenging situations
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills
Experience with medical software (preferably MD & Pracsoft), HotDoc and medical terminology
Previous experience in a medical reception and/or practice manager role (minimum 2 years)
