As our advisory and outsourced CFO division continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant to join the team.
n
The Opportunity
n
This is an advisory-focused role where you'll work directly with business owners and management teams to improve financial visibility, cash flow and decision-making.
n
You'll operate as an outsourced finance manager for a portfolio of clients and become a key part of their leadership and decision-making process.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare monthly management accounts and board-style reporting packs
n
Develop budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections
n
Analyse business performance and key financial drivers
n
Provide commercial insights and recommendations to clients
n
Assist clients with strategic planning and business improvement initiatives
n
Manage month-end reporting processes
n
Review payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions where required
n
Build and maintain dashboard reporting and KPI frameworks
n
Support system improvements and process automation opportunities
n
Assist clients with Xero, reporting tools and cloud accounting technologies
n
Work closely with directors on virtual CFO engagements
n




Mentor junior team members and assist with workflow management
n

About You
n
You'll enjoy working closely with business owners and translating financial information into practical commercial advice.
n
Ideally you'll have:
n
n
Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or Business
n
CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
n
4+ years' accounting experience
n
Experience in management accounting, virtual CFO, commercial accounting or business advisory work
n
Robust budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management experience
n
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
n
Experience with Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
n
Excellent client relationship and communication skills
n
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
