Position Overview: As a casual Residential Youth Worker with HCA, you can make a real difference in the lives of children and young people who are living in out-of-home care. We
areseekingcompassionate
and resilient youth workers to support children from a wide range of backgrounds.
n
As a Youth Workerat Infinity you willbe joininga welcoming and supportive team. To make life a little easierfor you,we do our rosters inadvance, which grants you some stability working in a casual environment. We also have emergency and ad hoc shifts available each week.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Build trusting relationships and create a protected, nurturing environment for at-risk youth.
n
Assistwith personal care, meals, and hygiene while encouraging independence.
n
Support attendance at school, appointments, and community activities.
n
Encourage emotional regulation and social connection through daily activities.
n
Administer medication
andmaintainaccuraterecords.
n
Support complex behaviours using trauma-informed and TCI approaches.
n
Complete Trauma Recovery Framework and TCI training within three months.
n
Work with multidisciplinary teams on individual support plans.
n
Maintain well being through supervision, reflection, and self-care
n
n
WhatWe'reLooking For
n
To be considered for this Youth Worker role,you'llneed to have (or be open to obtaining) the following:
n
n
Hold (or be studying towards) a Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Social Work, Disability Support Work or similar
n
6 months of residentialyouth work experience or strong transferable skills
n
AustralianDriversLicense
(P2 or higher)
n
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
n
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
n
Police Check
n
LCS2 check (Nice to have or happy to obtain)
n
