Job Description
Access Security Engineer | Vulnerability Research
n
This isn't your typical cyber security role.
n
We're exclusively partnering with a specialist cyber engineering team working on highly technical capabilities supporting national security outcomes.
n
Sitting at the intersection of vulnerability research and software engineering, you'll work across Android/Linux platforms, taking security research and proof-of-concept techniques and turning them into robust, shippable capabilities.
n
What you'll bring
n

Strong software engineering skills, ideally C/C++, Java or Kotlin
n
Deep Android and/or Linux knowledge
n
Vulnerability research, reverse engineering or exploit development experience
n
Exposure to Ghidra, IDA, Frida, ADB or similar tooling
n
Understanding of OS internals,
memory management and platform security
n
Ideally Defence, intelligence or national security experience
n
n
Depending on your strengths, you could lean towards finding and developing new access vectors or productising vulnerability research into operational capabilities.
n
This is an chance to work on security problems and technology you simply won't encounter in most commercial cyber roles.
n
Australian citizenship required. Security clearance highly regarded but not essential.
n
Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane preferred, with flexibility for exceptional candidates elsewhere in Australia.
