The opportunity
n
We're seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to manage a high-volume portfolio of complex work-related and non-work-related cases from triage through to sustainable return to work. Working across People & Culture, Safety and operations, you will combine clinical judgement with practical case management in a fast-paced construction environment.
n
n
Manage complex workers compensation and injury matters end to end, including long-running claims.
n
Develop and monitor return-to-work plans with injured workers, leaders and treating practitioners.
n
Triage injuries, coordinate early intervention and manage non-work-related and fitness-for-work matters.
n
Partner with People & Culture, Safety, site teams, insurers and rehabilitation providers to deliver compliant, person-centred outcomes.
n
Coach leaders,
analyse trends and support targeted injury prevention, wellbeing and psychosocial risk initiatives.
n
n
About you
n
You are a clinically grounded injury management professional who can work at pace, make sound decisions and confidently navigate sensitive cases with HR, Safety and operational stakeholders.
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in allied health, occupational rehabilitation, human resources or a relevant discipline.
n
End-to-end workers compensation, rehabilitation and return-to-work experience, including high-volume complex portfolios.
n
Experience in construction, infrastructure or another high-risk operational environment.
n
Strong knowledge of workers compensation and work health and safety obligations.
n
Excellent stakeholder management, organisation and reporting skills.
n
Current driver licence and White Card.
n
n
Highly regarded: Mental Health First Aid, construction-related safety training, and previous experience supporting a geographically dispersed or blue-collar workforce.
n
