We're looking for a Permanent Full Time Employment Consultant to join our Workforce Australia team in Mt Druitt.

At Employment Plus, you'll help people build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
Based at our Mt Druitt site, you'll provide quality engagement with local First Nations People helping build confidence, skills and job readiness.
This is an identified position and is open only to people of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.

What you'll be doing
Manage a high-volume caseload of job seekers
Engage and motivate participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
Reverse market suitable candidates to employers
Identify and address barriers to employment
Build participants' confidence, skills and job readiness
Use strong problem‐solving skills to achieve positive outcomes
About you
You enjoy working with people and making a positive impact.
You are an experienced Employment Consultant looking to join a values-driven organisation or you may be someone with strong customer engagement and administrative skills ready for a meaningful career change.
You will possess a demonstrated understanding of the history and challenges impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Experience working in a specialist role within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community is advantage but not essential.
If you're organised, resilient, a strong communicator and able to build rapport quickly, you'll thrive in this role.
A current driver's licence is required for this position.

Location and Contract
Location: Mt Druitt
Contract type: Permanent Full Time
Working hours: fulltime hours across a 9‐day fortnight or accrue a monthly RDO
Salary: Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.
