Position Overview
n
Based at our Heathwood site, Civilmart is seeking a Business Manager to help grow our AusPits business across Queensland.
n
This is a hands-on role focused on winning work, building relationships and making sure projects move smoothly from opportunity through to delivery.
n
You'll work closely with our Sales, Estimating, Engineering and Production teams to identify new opportunities, support tender submissions and strengthen relationships with contractors, consultants and government clients. You'll also play a key role in managing project pipelines and supporting the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Identify and pursue current opportunities across civil infrastructure, utilities, road, rail and major projects.
n
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants and government clients.
n
Get involved early in projects and promote Civilmart's precast solutions.
n
Support initiatives to grow revenue and expand our presence in key markets.
n
Work with the Sales Team to turn leads and enquiries into awarded work.
n
Manage a pipeline of opportunities and keep forecasts and reporting up to date.
n
Represent Civilmart at client meetings, industry events and networking functions.
n
Understand customer requirements and help deliver practical solutions.
n
Assist with tenders, bids, proposals and other project submissions.
n
Keep up to date with market activity, upcoming projects and competitor movements.
n




Work closely with project teams to support a smooth transition from award through to delivery.
n
Collaborate with Engineering, Drafting, Production and Finance to meet customer and project requirements.
n
Identify opportunities for new products, applications and market growth.
n
Provide input on pricing, project risk and commercial decisions.
n
Support and mentor Project Coordinators while helping drive positive customer outcomes.

About You
n
n
Relevant qualifications in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field.
n
Demonstrated experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within the civil construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or precast industries.
n
Ability to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
n
Experience working with tenders, bids and major project opportunities.
n
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability.
n
Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep opportunities moving.
n
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
n
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
n
Experience working across cross-functional teams.
n
Leadership experience or the ability to guide and support others.
n
