The Education Quality Officer is a key role within the College's Education and Innovation portfolio, supporting the delivery of high-quality educational outcomes through governance, quality assurance, strategic projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position leads and coordinates program reviews, governance reporting, and strategic education projects, while supporting quality assurance, accreditation, and compliance requirements. Working across a diverse stakeholder environment, you will help drive continuous improvement, enhance the student experience, and support the delivery of the College's education priorities.
In this role you will:
Lead and coordinate education quality initiatives, program reviews, and quality assurance processes to support accreditation, academic excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Provide expert advice and operational support to senior leaders on education quality, governance, policy, and strategic initiatives.
Manage and deliver education projects that support the College's strategic priorities, driving continuous improvement and innovation across teaching and learning.
Develop reports, recommendations, and governance documentation to support effective decision making and reporting outcomes.
Build strong relationships with academic and professional staff, working collaboratively to enhance education quality and student outcomes.
Support compliance with TEQSA, ESOS, AQF, and University requirements, ensuring high standards of quality and accountability are maintained.
This is a full time, 12-month fixed-term position and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).
How will you inspire us?
You will have:
Demonstrated experience in education quality, governance, policy, or curriculum management, within a higher education environment, including exposure to accreditation or quality assurance activities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.




Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse groups.
Experience interpreting and applying policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements to provide trusted advice and practical solutions.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and manage sensitive matters effectively.
A collaborative approach, commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for supporting high-quality educational outcomes.
