About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detailed oriented Casual Groundskeeper at Collaroy Centre to join our team at The Collaroy Centre, NSW (Northern Beaches).
Purpose of the Role
Maintain gardens and grounds, to ensure a functional and safe outdoor space for our internal customers and guests.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
General garden maintenance (mowing, edging, pruning)
Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment
Identifying and addressing basic maintenance needs in outdoor areas
Role also involves blowing and cleaning roads and pathways, as well as assisting with meeting room and event space setups, not just gardening
Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in grounds maintenance/gardening.
Experience in garden maintenance and landscaping.
Confident using a range of gardening tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Mention that a horticulture, landscaping, or similar qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Salary on offer
Salary range between $26-$27.5/h $***** Plus Casual loading
Requirements for the role
A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required.
Valid Working with Children's check.
Valid Driver's License.
Flexibility with hours to meet operational requirements.
Days and hours of working.
Operational Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
