Job Description
Working alongside experienced fabrication and installation teams, this full-time position provides hands‐on support to skilled tradespeople across the fabrication and installation of large structural steel and outdoor structures.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Assisting boilermakers, fabricators, installers and other tradespeople as required
n
Assisting with loading and unloading where required, deliveries and collection of materials, and supplies
n
Material handling and movement of steel and components
n
Using power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
n
General workshop and labouring duties
n
Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
n
Keeping the workshop, yard and work areas clean, safe and organised
n
Following company Safe Work Procedures, SWMS and WHS requirements
n

About you
n
n
Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, General Hand or Labourer, preferably within structural steel, fabrication, or construction
n
Experience using hand and power tools
n
Good mechanical and practical aptitude
