Why you will love Working Here
Getting older can mean giving up a lot.
Your home.
Your routine.
The little things that make life feel like yours.
We don't think it should.
With more than 800 team members and 200 volunteers, we're here to help people stay connected to the life they love.
Whether that's a lift to an appointment, help around the house, or a familiar face stopping by for a chat, we're making everyday life a little easier for people across our community.
And we look after our team the same way.
You'll be supported, appreciated, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about making life better for others and each other.
The work you do might happen behind the scenes, but it's what helps the right support show up at the right front door, every day.
Here's what you can expect
Transparent, supported career pathways and training to help you grow
Not-for-profit salary packaging ($15,900 per annum)
Leave loading to make your time off even sweeter
Branded workwear
Employee referral rewards because good people know good people
Fitness Passport access to gyms and wellness facilities
Employee Assistance Program for confidential support when you need it
QLeave portable long service leave that recognises long-term care work
What you'll be doing
You may not be the one knocking on the front door, but you make sure the right support gets there.
As a Scheduling Officer, you'll connect customers with the right team members at the right time, making sure visits run smoothly and people receive the support they've asked for.
Every roster you build helps someone stay independent, keep their routine, and continue living life on their terms.
You'll spend your days:
Creating and maintaining schedules for in-home and community visits
Keeping team members and customers informed when plans change
Managing leave requests, vacancies and last-minute adjustments to keep services running smoothly

Working closely with teams across Suncare to make sure support aligns with care plans and service agreements
Monitoring schedules and service delivery to identify improvements and maintain quality
Keeping workforce information accurate and up to date
Coordinating staffing arrangements during emergency or unexpected situations
Delivering helpful, friendly support whenever a customer gets in touch
This is a permanent full-time role based at our Sunshine Coast Head Office (76 hours per fortnight).
You'll thrive in this role if...
You're the kind of person who loves bringing order to moving parts.
You stay calm when plans change, enjoy solving problems, and know that great communication can turn a stressful situation into a manageable one.
Most importantly, you understand that behind every roster is a real person counting on support to show up.
You'll also have:
A Diploma in Business Administration, Community Development, or a related field
Experience scheduling services within a medium to large human services organisation
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Robust time management and organisational skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems
An understanding of workforce scheduling and coordination principles
Robust attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Belonging Starts Here
We believe real care starts with real belonging.
That means creating a workplace where everyone - no matter their background, culture, or story - feels seen, respected, and safe to be themselves.
We welcome applications from First Nations people, the LGBTIQA+ community, people with disabilities, and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Your story matters here.
"We proudly work across the lands of the Gubbi Gubbi (Gub-bee Gub-bee), Turrbal, Yuggera, Darumbal, Butchulla (Batjala) & Taribelang Bunda peoples, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. We are committed to creating a culturally safe, inclusive and welcoming workplace for all."
