Immediate Start | 2-3 month temporary | Hybrid Working
Our client, a leading global healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Payroll Support Officer to join their payroll team on a 2-3 month temporary role.
Following the recent implementation of Dayforce, the team requires an additional pair of hands to provide payroll administration and operational support while system and process improvements continue.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll qualified who enjoys problem-solving, data validation, and working behind the scenes to support a high-volume payroll function.

2-3 month temporary role
$42-$55 per hour + super (depending on experience)
Hybrid working arrangement (initially 2-3 days in the office, with 4 days WFH once you are settled into the role)

The Role
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will provide payroll support to a team of Payroll Officers responsible for processing payroll across a complex workforce.
Key responsibilities depend on your experience, and can include:
Reviewing and validating payroll data prior to payroll processing
Investigating and correcting payroll discrepancies
Performing payroll reconciliations and quality checks




Reviewing leave balances, timesheets and employee records
Processing timesheet data entry
Managing payroll and employee enquiry inboxes
Supporting payroll compliance activities and background payroll processes
Assisting with termination calculations and overpayment reviews
Manual payroll calculations as required
Supporting Dayforce-related administration and troubleshooting activities
About You
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Previous end to end payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and data analysis
Experience performing payroll checks, reconciliations and investigations
Understanding of Long Service Leave (LSL) calculations and manual payroll calculations
Exposure to Dayforce or similar payroll systems will be highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify payroll discrepancies
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder enquiries
A proactive, team-oriented approach
Nice to Have
Candidates with broader payroll expertise, including complex payroll calculations, awards/EBAs, terminations, or system optimisation experience, will have the opportunity to add further value to the team.
