About Uniting Griffith
n
Uniting Griffithhas 3 separate households, each with between 17 and 30 residents, including a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Leisure and Lifestyle Team ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.
n
We're transitioning toHousehold Living – our creative approach to care – which will empower our residents to live their way, just as they would in any family home.
n
n
You'll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life
n
Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility
n
Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings
n
Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
n

Who we're looking for
n
n
You'll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
n
You'll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you're studying or have recently become qualified.
n
You'll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful,



imaginative, and bold.
