We are looking for a warm, reliable and organised Family Assistant / Housekeeper & Childminder to provide some much-needed additional support to a busy working mum and her two children, aged 2 and 7, based in Eagle Farm.

Balancing work, children and everything that comes with running a household can be busy! This role is all about providing an extra set of hands to help make the day-to-day a little easier.
n
We're looking for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of the family's routine – helping with the children in the afternoons, school and daycare pick-ups, getting them to activities, preparing meals and lending a hand with general household tasks.
n
This isn't just a childcare role or a housekeeping role. It's a diverse family support position for someone who enjoys children, is naturally organised and is happy to jump in wherever an extra hand is needed.
n Hours

Monday – Thursday: 2:30pm – 5:30pm
n
Friday: 2:30pm – 8:30pm
n
Additional babysitting opportunities may also be available during the week and on weekends

Your Day Could Include

School and daycare pick‐ups

Driving the children to activities and appointments

Light cleaning and tidying

Keeping children's rooms and play areas organised

Helping with general errands and day‐to‐day household tasks

Occasional babysitting for additional hours during the week and weekends

About You
n
We're looking for someone who is trustworthy, caring, proactive and confident with children, particularly younger children.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience caring for children
n
Confidence caring for young children, including a 2‐year‐old
n
A current Blue Card / Working with Children Check
n
A reliable car and driver's licence
n
Confidence driving children safely to school, activities and appointments
n
Strong organisational and time‐management skills
n
A proactive attitude – someone who can see what needs doing and lend a hand
n
Reliability and excellent communication
n
A friendly, caring and trustworthy nature
n
n
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands the realities of a busy household and can become a reliable and trusted helping hand for a working mum and her children.
