Job Description
The mission
n
As an A220 First Officer, you'll operate across a diverse network in a highly professional, multi-crew workplace. You'll contribute to on-time performance, exceptional safety standards, and a great passenger experience while progressing your career on one of the most efficient narrow-body jets flying today.

Minimum requirements
n
n
Total time: Minimum 500 hours in fixed-wing aircraft
n
Multi-crew readiness: MCC course completion certificate or equivalent
n
Instrument approach proficiency: IAP 2D and 3D
n
Licensing: CASA licences only — fATPL (ATPL theory credits), IR, and ME
n
Medical: Class 1
n
Language: ICAO ELP Level 6
n
Plus one of:n
n
200 hours in command of a multi-engine aircraft (excluding PICUS)
n
200 hours in command of a turbine-powered fixed-wing aircraft
n
200 hours on aircraft certified for operation by a crew of two pilots (multi-crew)
n
n
n
Note: Type rating not required; training is provided on the A220.
n
Additional requirements
n
n
Eligibility to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
n
Willing and able to pass drug and alcohol testing
n
Current passport with unrestricted access to all countries Qantas operates to, with at least 12 months validity
n
n
