Our client is one of Melbourne's premier commercial tilers, run by a group of industry professionals with more than a decade of experience. They offer supply and install services across all commercial, industrial and domestic tiling, stone cladding and waterproofing.

Operating under an integrated management system covering quality, safety and environmental standards, they deliver excellence in workmanship across tiling, stone cladding and hard landscaping — with a proven track record across supply, design and installation. Their work spans a diverse range of projects including residential apartments, aged care facilities, shopping centres, high-end developments, institutions and commercial offices.

About The Opportunity
n
The primary purpose of this position is to take on a newly created role estimating across both tiling and stone masonry projects.
n
Reporting directly to the Director, some of your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Reviewing blueprints to determine the project scope and measurement requirements
n
Calculating total costs for materials,



labour, specialised stone and waste margins
n
Sourcing supplier quotes for tile, granite, mortar and fabrication services
n
Submitting competitive bids to general contractors and clients before project deadlines
n
Handing over won bids to project managers with clear cost breakdowns
n
n
About You
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
Minimum 3 years' experience with tier 2 & tier 3 builders or contractors
n
Experience on high-rise projects
n
A trade background or similar (desirable)
n
CNC operation experience (highly desired)
n
A team-focused attitude with willingness to help out when needed
n
n
