Vineyard Vet Hospital is looking for a friendly, compassionate and highly organised Full-Time Receptionist to join our team.

About the Role
n
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you'll play an key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience. You'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the veterinary team with the day-to-day running of the hospital.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
n
Answering phones, emails and client enquiries
n
Booking and managing appointments
n
Checking clients and patients in and out
n
Processing payments and handling cash/transactions
n
Managing client records and maintaining accurate information
n
Liaising with veterinarians, nurses and the wider team
n
Assisting with general administrative and reception duties
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
n




Providing compassionate support to clients during both routine and difficult visits
n

About You
n

Passionate about animals and their wellbeing
n
Confident communicating with clients both in person and over the phone
n
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
n
Calm and professional in a busy environment
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
n
Comfortable multitasking and prioritising competing demands
n
Previous veterinary reception or veterinary industry experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to the right person with strong customer service and administration experience
