About the role

Chanelles Helping Hands Recruitment PTY LTD is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Bentley, Perth. These casual roles provide essential support services to a mature lady with Cerebral Palsy who has a speech impairment.

What you'll be doing
Assisting our client with her daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Providing companionship and social engagement to support the overall well-being of our client, which includes driving her wheelchair accessible van.
Advocating for our client's needs and ensuring a high standard of care is maintained
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations

What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar support worker or caregiving role
Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with our client
Genuine compassion and empathy for the disabled community




Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
A current WA driver's license
A current First Aid certificate
Police clearance
Manual Handling Certificate
Working with Children Card
NDIS Worker Clearance
Furthermore, the successful candidates must complete the NDIS Worker Orientation module before starting their roles with us.
