The Grumpy Baker is a well-established cafe and bakery, proudly serving our community for over 20 years with multiple locations across Sydney. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Cafe Manager to lead our team at a number of our locations across Sydney.

We're seeking someone passionate about hospitality and leadership to take it to the next level.

A natural leader with strong hospitality and barista experience (both are essential!)

A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work autonomously

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings energy to the team

A team player who is also confident making decisions and leading from the front

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Leading and mentoring a passionate team
n
Managing stock, ordering, and minimising wastage
n




Overseeing quality control and food presentation
n
Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met
n
Creating and managing staff rosters
n
Maintaining smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen
n
Making top-quality coffee and working the register
n
Setting up attractive product displays
n
Keeping service areas clean, tidy, and welcoming
n
