Job Description
As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for triaging incoming Claims. You'll work alongside our high performing and dedicated team of Loss Adjusters, and assist in progressing claims towards settlement.

Key responsibilities
n
First point of contact for new claims and instructions from Insurers
n
Effectively triage, seek guidance, and determine next steps to progress claims
n
Gather, prepare and check all documentation for accuracy
n
Instruct service providers and suppliers, on direction from Loss Adjusters
n
Assist Loss Adjusters establish appointments for greatest efficiency in managing their caseload and site inspections
n
Meet Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
n
Ensure Contractual, Statutory and General Insurance Code of Practice (GICOP) requirements are met
n
Record all required information in our proprietary claims system
n
Maintain timely response to all communications giving transparent and accurate advice
n
Assist with invoicing and other administrative functions
n
About you
n




Minimum 3 years in General Insurance claims, preferred however not essential
n
Intermediate skills in MS Suite (MSWord and MSExcel)
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
n
Critical-thinking skills, personal drive and self-motivation
n
Down to earth and respectful attitude, and a positive outgoing personality
n
Excellent customer service, as well as time and caseload management skills
n
Experience with insurance claims systems is essential for accurate data entry and claims management
n
