The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician to join our growing irrigation services team. Working across a diverse range of agricultural operations, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems.
n
This role is ideal for a mechanically minded technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving technical problems, and building strong relationships with customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring irrigation systems operate efficiently and reliably to support agricultural productivity.

Install, assemble and commission a range of our irrigation solutions
n
Conduct preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on irrigation equipment.
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control system issues.
n
Perform servicing on pumps, motors, gearboxes, drive units and related irrigation infrastructure.
n
Install and maintain irrigation control systems, telemetry and automation equipment.
n
Complete site inspections and provide recommendations for system improvements.
n
Respond to customer service calls and breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
n
Maintain accurate service records,



work orders and inspection reports.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
n
Assist with project installations and upgrades across a variety of agricultural sites.

Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and support regarding irrigation system operation and maintenance.

Experience in a field service, maintenance or technician role.
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
n
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
n
Experience working with agricultural machinery, irrigation equipment, pumping systems or similar infrastructure.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
n
Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
Willingness to travel and work in regional and remote locations as required.
